Indication and Use

Minoxidil 5% is a topical medication used to help stimulate hair regrowth in men and women with hereditary hair loss (androgenetic alopecia).

It is for external use only on the scalp.

It is not intended for sudden or patchy hair loss, unexplained hair loss, or hair loss after childbirth unless directed by a healthcare professional.

Who Should Not Use Minoxidil 5%

Do not use if you:

Have no family history of hair loss.

Have sudden or patchy hair loss or hair loss due to medical conditions (thyroid disease, scarring, alopecia areata, etc.).

Have a red, inflamed, infected, painful, or irritated scalp.

Are under 18 years old.

Are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Are allergic to minoxidil or any inactive ingredient in the product.

Warnings and Precautions

Avoid contact with eyes, mouth, or broken skin. If accidental contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with cool water.

Do not inhale spray mist or apply to other parts of the body.

Possible Cardiovascular Effects
